Pedro, Kiko, and David, three friends in their late thirties, travel to Rio de Janeiro to retrieve the body of Mateo, their best friend from high school, who has died under mysterious circumstances. However, upon arriving in Brazil, nothing is as it seems. Mateo, "the deceased," has disappeared, his house is in chaos, and one of his ex-girlfriends is desperately looking for him.
